Got Questions?

We have answers!

How much does it cost to create a video?

Answer

This is a top question with good reason. Videos are priced based on the extent of the project and include many factors such as length, complexity and amount of footage needed. Contact us at any time for more details on how much your project could cost.

How long will it take to make my video?

Answer

The project length is dependent on the amount of footage needed, how long the video will be and the contents of the video. Projects can take as short as a few days to film, edit and deliver. After the discovery stage of the process, it will be more clear on what the timeline will be.

Why do I need a video production company?

Answer

With experience creating a wide variety of videos, a production company makes the process smoother and more efficient, taking the technical details and work off your plate. Expertise in both the capture of video and audio, along with editing, insures that the final product is professional and effective.

Do you require a contract?

Answer

A contract is required for each project because it protects both parties. It lays out the terms and conditions that both sides need to fulfill. It also defines the scope of the project so that if a major change is made to the project, an updated estimate can be created to compensate for additional work needed.

Do you travel or film on location?

Answer

Yes! Not only do we love to travel, we have tons of experience with shooting on location across the country. Terms of travel will be included in the estimate and contract, making sure that appropriate compensation for food, lodging and other expenses are spoken for.

Are you fully insured?

Answer

Yes, we are fully insured for our equipment and for liability. We can provide the appropriate insurance documentation for any venue that requires it. There is peace of mind knowing that all aspects of the production are covered.

How much input will I have with my video?

Answer

As much as you’d like! Input is first shared during the discovery stage, where we define the scope of the video project. We’ll agree on a style, look and feel and start creating from there. At the editing stage, your input will be needed to insure we end up with a video that meets your needs.

What about revisions during the edit?

Answer

It’s rare to wrap up a project on the first edit, so typically contracts include two rounds of revisions. We work hard to define the video’s purpose and design early on in the process so that more revisions aren’t necessary. However, changes are an expected part of the process and are accounted for in the estimate and timeline. Larger changes to the scope will be documented in a change order that may include additional charges.

I'm not great on camera, so now what?

Answer

We’re good at creating a comfortable, no-pressure environment. We work with you in your element to help make the best video possible and use tools like teleprompters and cue cards to make being on camera easier. If you’d rather not be on camera, we can help with hiring professional talent to take on that role.
